New hosting, new blog, complete site overhaul… sorry about losing old content but the mess of my old site had just become completely unusable! Just survived Carnival Season in Cologne and will post some pictures soon.
Lost a few more months to health issues. Got a new doctor finally, who’s been very helpful and things are improving. Been able to bike a bit again, even did 12 km to see the Geisterzug parade a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately that knocked me out a bit, but overall I’m on an upward swing.

Been writing a lot while at home – I’m revising/ rewriting my prequel story, re-editing “Strangeling” to make the starting scenes more dynamic (there will be no major structural changes to the story, just some style changes. Book 2 is about 40% written but fully outlined. Progress is slower than I’d like but things ARE moving along.
Been playing with Daz3D to better visualize my characters with a new generation of their models. Results are mixed; posing characters beyond one-click presets is really a pain. Here’s a preliminary render of Dusty at 17, about to discover mead and kick ass at an SCA festival, anyway. 🙂
Photography… My last shoot was mid December with some of my favorite local cosplayers, the Witcher Boys. I’m working on a second site purely for fantasy photography and asked them to help me make a main cover image. Will update when the site’s live.
