Kira Hagen
Author of “Strangeling: Children of the Broken Dawn 1”
Kira is a traveler, photographer, digital artist, and writer. She was born in Minneapolis, MN in 1977 and spent about a quarter of her childhood in Burkina Faso and Madagascar, then majored in History with a focus on the later Roman Empire. In an effort to qualify for jobs beyond tour guiding, she got TEFL certified and then ended up in teaching English in Moscow, Russia for 9 years. After fleeing there in 2015, she and her son and husband ended up in Germany and now live in a messy apartment full of geekery and feral parrotlets.
