Very nice. If only there was a living history event that authentic out here. Best nearby is SCA – they try but there isn't much cohesion or folks with the budget for proper kit.
It's a very high standard here – Tony even got lots of frowns for having slightly-wrong shoes because the craftsman he ordered them from made them with leather buckles two centuries too late for the rest of his garb. And Tony, of course, is mortified to be seen in them.
The archaeologist in me revels at this though 🙂 Out here, I am just impressed if ppl have footwear and are not wearing poly-blended fabric…
