Samsun — First Impressions

Our big balcony Our living room Guest bedroom #1 - I think I'm going to use this as an art room when we don't have visitors.
Guest bedroom #2 - currently a mess of half-unpacked luggage. Master bedroom. Very pink, I know. Balcony #2, off the master bedroom.
Entryway Tony standing outside his school. Love the view from there. Downtown Samsun. A bit ramshackle but fun shopping.
View of the beach. About a 10 minute walk from our flat. Another view of the Black Sea. Black Sea coast and coastguard building.
Breakfast at a cafe a block away: pastries with mutton and carmelized onions on top, and an extremely gooey pistachio flavored brownie for desert. Street view a couple blocks from our house, with the mosque that blares religious yodeling at 5 a.m. every day. I actually think the musical calls are pretty neat, but wish they'd get better speakers... also, not really thrilled with the 5 a.m. thing.
