Natural dolmen? It looked like it but I have no idea how it could have gotten to be so; this is very near pinnacle of the hill.
Romania left me with mixed feelings. In Bucharest and the Eastern part, there was a lot of beauty but also that utter disregard for the worth of other sustainable relationships, both with the land and with one's neighbors, that is one of the worst legacies of the backlash against Communism. Which is to say, there are no fish in the Danube Delta, and I've rarely been anywhere as ruthlessly predatory towards travelers.
On the other hand, I also visited the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, Sighisoara, and found Transylvania quite lovely.
